I got on here this morning to tell you all about this literary contest that I am going to enter in. Then I see that my layout has changed and that the text script has changed as well. I see it and I first think,"Something is definitely wrong." and I go to the editing link for the blog. Considering that I am not technically savvy, I did not know how to change the text script and I sat there for about three minutes going through every tab and link there was and I still couldn't figure this out! I was about ready to cry, but I don't think that it would be the most mature thing to cry while I am in my history class, is it? It's not the most mature thing to type out a blog post during one's history class either, but it does not matter at the moment. After I refreshed the flipping page though, is when the text went back to its normal font. I am not mad about this at all.
Speaking of history though, I thought of something this morning:
Awkward(definition): When you live in America and Japan buys your old steel to make weapons out of and they kill half of your troops in the pacific during WWII.
That is incredibly awkward now isn't it?
Now, onto this literary contest. My school always advertises the Gale Literary Contest in May. Since I am getting more involved in literature and things of that nature, I thought, "Why not submit a poem of my own? I can write one this week!" So that is what I am doing. I am writing a poem now and it is actually turning out quite well. The theme of my poem is about growing up, becoming an adult and moving out on your own. I have a little written so far, but I won't share it yet until I perfect it completely. I hope that when I do enter I win some sort of prize in the end. I am also going to enter a music contest too, but this is my literature blog and my music blog hasn't been written on in... forever. Enough about that though.
I have to go for now, but I hope everyone reads this blog post and the last post I wrote!
I bid you all adieu for I shall see you all again with my next blog post <3
